Help CHILD to help children get the rights they deserve
“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
“The child shall enjoy the benefits of social security. He shall be entitled to grow and develop in health… The child shall have the right to adequate nutrition, housing, recreation, and medical services.”
United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child, 1959; a treaty which remains unratified by only one UN member nation: the United States of America.
“Surely, free exercise of religious beliefs cannot be legal when it causes deaths of children.”
Doug Swan, Co-Founder of CHILD
All CHILD requires for membership is general agreement with its aims as described above, a completed Member/Donor Information Sheet, and payment of annual dues. Members receive a quarterly newsletter, updates on significant mission-related issues, and organizational voting rights. For more about CHILD and its activities, please visit our About page.
- Membership for an individual or a family unit – $40 per year
- Membership for a full-time student – $15 per year
- Gift membership – $15 for the first year; renewals are payable at the above rates
CHILD keeps the dues as low as it can; however, donations over and above the minimums are sorely needed and greatly appreciated.
If you wish to make a donation “In Memory of…” or “In Honor of…” or for any other reason without joining CHILD, we are very grateful for your generosity.
